"I joined Mecca about 6 months ago and am currently on the TGM programme. I was attracted to Mecca because the company was still investing in people even through a difficult time in the economy. I was interested in the role of Trainee General Manager because the training was thorough and there was an opportunity to gain a management qualification whilst I was training.

"Since joining I have been made to feel supported and am very comfortable with the transition I am making from Assistant Manager to General Manager. I am really enjoying the role because I am meeting people in the same position as me across the Mecca estate and am learning and making friends on the programme. The job is challenging and you develop both leadership skills and business skills whilst learning more about yourself. Everyone in the company is so welcoming and wants you to succeed. I get to work with some great General Managers with lots experience which will hopefully put me in a good position to manage my own Mecca Club later this year. "

I have been very lucky to be placed in new concept clubs! Mecca Dagenham & Mecca Beeston are two of the Full House Destination clubs. An exciting new club with new challenges and new concepts - a great place for a new manager to develop.

”The TGM program is very well structured. The company has invested a lot of time and money into developing the program and in to developing us as managers. As a TGM you will be enrolled into the Mecca Management Academy. The MMA helps you to develop in all areas of the business and also gives you the chance to influence changes within the business. If you are willing to invest time and effort in the program both you and Mecca will see a return on this investment.”
