With 102 clubs in the UK and in excess of 5m members Mecca Bingo really does put on the best game in town! 2007 is an exciting year for the bingo industry with the new legislation already taking effect which means for the first time ever we’ll be giving away £1m jackpots and regularly making bingo millionaires!
The Trainee General Manager (TGM) scheme is Mecca's flagship management development programme and is unlike any other in our industry. This is the only programme that leads to a post-graduate qualification - Certificate in Management (CIM) - and a General Manager position at the end of the training period. By the time you complete the programme you will have both the experience and expertise to manage your own club!
The programme spans over a two year period and is considered to be a challenging learning curve for most people. Throughout your development you will be required to deliver against your operational objectives whilst learning all about the Mecca business and our highly valued customer base.
With the business progressing each year there are plenty of opportunities for you to gain success and recognition along the way. The TGM role offers you ample exposure to local market challenges as you move from club to club gaining experience and meeting new customers and teams.
At the end of the programme you will need to find new ways of increasing your customer base, diversifying the product range and retaining Mecca's competitive edge - this will challenge some of your most innovative thinking and creativity in the role.
